Vision

Kurrier aims to become a complete open-source communications platform built on open standards.

Today's communication tools are increasingly fragmented across proprietary APIs and closed ecosystems. Kurrier's goal is to provide a modern, self-hostable alternative that gives individuals and organizations full ownership of their communication infrastructure.

Rather than inventing new proprietary protocols, Kurrier embraces existing open standards wherever possible.

Principles

  • Open source first
  • Self-hostable

  • Interoperability over vendor lock-in
  • Standards over proprietary APIs
