Open Recent File

Just a small QoL thing, but it would be cool to have an "open recent" option in the toolbar for opening recent roms.

Saves you a bit of time if you're constantly needing to refresh to check IVs and stuff. An alternative solution I think would be a button to reload the open save file.

This already exists. PKHeX saves your 10 most recently loaded save files in your local config file, and are accessible via the Folder List menu (Ctrl-F or Tools > Open Folder).

Also functionality exists to double-click the SAV tab to trigger a load of the most recently modified save file (same as what is done when the program launches, if the settings are configured to try to load the most recent save file). The settings also can configure folder paths for both detection as well as jump-buttons for the Folder List menu.
