UI doesn't auto update with new songs/tracks

This looks like a really cool project, and I wanted a GUI for pianobar for ever, so figured I'd give this a whirl. It works fine the first time I load the web app, but then it never updates again unless I manually reload in my browser. I'm assuming this isn't expected behavior?

This is what I see while running the app:

All of those a user connected events are me manually reloading the page in my web browser (firefox).

??? Browser permissions perhaps. I've got it running on more than one computer.
EDIT: I just ran it on Firefox and it works fine http://192.168.0.108:3000 is the address
of the computer running the Patiobar interface to Pianobar.

What kind of browser permissions? I see the same problem in Chrome too.

The page is javascript so that would need to have permission.

I haven't disabled javascript explicitly, and JS works fine for literally all other websites.

Also, just checked, and this also fails to work from my phone's browsers.

A question: Do all of the controls work and if not which ones? Just curious. My background is network communication so "everything looks like a wrench" and I am suspecting something blocking updates.

All the controls work fine. Its just the art/title that never updates.

I'm not that great on browser cache but I know the early web pages I wrote had to trick the browser to reload my image on timed update otherwise the browser would cache my weather charts forever.
