Hello everyone, I need some help.
I'm using macOS Sequoia 15.4.1 and have installed the Background Music utility. Here's the issue I'm facing:
The night before, I had a Zoom meeting that I needed to record for later viewing.
I launched the Background Music app and it was running in the background (I could see its icon in the menu bar).
I opened Zoom as usual, the meeting started, I joined with audio and video, and I could hear everyone in the meeting room just fine.
Then, I opened QuickTime Player, selected “New Screen Recording,” and chose the desktop I was working on. For microphone, I selected “Background Music.” Then I hit “Start Recording” in QuickTime.
When the meeting ended, Zoom automatically closed and QuickTime saved the recorded video to my desktop.
However, when I played back the video, it had no sound — only the visuals!
I’m not sure where I went wrong with the settings. I’d really appreciate your help. Thank you so much!
