traveling from China, LGU+ immediately works on Pixel 9 Pro XL w/o running Pixel IMS+Shizuku, seemingly, if not mistaken/misremembering. The 5-day plan is supposed to be able to handle only incoming calls/texts without identity verification codes, but without a clear before/after comparison, my friend's plan can now make outgoing local calls at a minimum. Not sure if it's fluke or what.
See https://www.lguplus.com/ib-roaming/pc/eng/product/esim-data-voice, emphasis of which is on, "Identity verification is not possible for either."
If the dark magic can enable calls, how does one get billed? when Voice top-up price has clear separate charges that are not considered "unlimited."
Thanks.
