Overall algorithmic delay

Hi,
Thanks for sharing this great work.. if I understand correctly from the paper, the total algorithmic latency is about 2.8 seconds defined by the end offset metric. Could you elaborate how this reflects the real-time aspect of the S2ST task? Do you think this is a reasonable amount for e.g., real-time communication system?

Some amount of potentially large delay is likely to always be necessary, e.g. when translating from german to english you may have to wait for the end of sentences to get the full meaning (as the verbs often ends up there) whereas this won't be the case in the translated english so the delay is likely to be large in that case.
