[BUG] CrossOver doesn't work on Linux Mint 22 Cinnamon

Describe the issue
I have tried 5 versions (3.4.1, 3.1.5, 2.7.4, 2.1.2, 1.3.2) and the 3.4.1 one did booted up but it showed nothing even after messing around with the keybinds and stuff. The other 4 versions showed a black rectangle in the center then crashed shortly after, i cant even access the settings. I checked and i do have all the depenencies.
Also i can't open the choose crosshair menu in the 3.4.1 version, idk this might be related

I only need a simple white dot in the center, no fancy stuff, that's it. And the ability to toggle on and off with a keybind. So an old version would work fine.

Linux Mint 22 (Cinnamon) uses Wayland by default, which breaks Electron's transparent window rendering. The black rectangle and crash are the result of Electron not being able to create a transparent overlay on Wayland compositors.

Try launching with X11 forced:

GDK_BACKEND=x11 ./CrossOver

Or if using the AppImage:

GDK_BACKEND=x11 ./CrossOver-*.AppImage

If that works, you can make it permanent by editing the .desktop file and adding GDK_BACKEND=x11 to the Exec line. This is a limitation of Electron + transparent windows on Wayland, not specific to CrossOver.
