Hi, A friend directed me to this repo because of the type of phone verification I am trying to build. But I cannot understand this project. I thought it would be something like

But its not that way, and we dont even install it, we install other packages that I dont even understand.
I even decided to clone it, in the hope that when I see it working, I would have a better understanding of what is going on. But the latest frisbee is saying it uses node 6 or 7. I really dont even have any friends that use that node version unless they use nvm to switch.
Finally I came to the issues area to see if this project is still being worked on and I saw issues dating back to 2017.
What do I do? I am only looking for a solution on iOS
