Uploading pdf files in playground

The chat input provides an option to upload files with the 'files' field name:

However when running the flow in the playground there is only an image upload icon which supports only image formats. Is this how it is supposed to be or am I missing something?

Is it possible to have a rag flow which allows file upload during chat and stores them to the vector db and perform rag for the following questions?
