Dual GNSS F9P

Congrats with the design. Is the hardware design available for the dual GNSS (centimeter level)? I reviewed the schematics/PCB & there looks to be only one on the board in 2.2 & called out in the next iteration. Happy to assist where I can.

I am currently in the process of building a v2.2 board (parts ordered and currently arriving), and there isn't any difference in how the DGNSS is handled so it still used this afik.

When you say

Are you referring to

added uart GNSS solder jumpers to optionally disconnect the onboard M9N GNSS module. (For later upgrading to a D-GNSS module) #27

Because if you read this manual put out by one of the community members they talked about something similar to what the release note seems to be talking about in section II and I think that the change address that.

Ah ha - Got it. I found this a little confusing & probably should have paid more attention. Now much clearer. Thanks so much for your help. I'll go ahead and order the 2.2 PCB and parts.

My build is a group buy (everything is at cost) of a partially assembled PBC (everything except imu and pressure sensors) to lower the cost per unit for everyone. The first batch was 5 units, but I’ve had a couple more requests, so I’m planning a second batch after I confirm everything works with the first. Would you be interested in joining the next round?

Thanks, That’s a nice idea. I have a 50 reel PnP machine in the office. So was going to invest some time to get that set up. Hold on that thought until I have checked out the BoM price unless you have already done that? It ended up being ~$400 per board but about $250 of that was the IMU, presure sensor and barometer. And the boards where populated will all the parts expect the ones in that list. That's obviously not including the DGNSS.

We have been using a simpleRTK2B heading board from ardusimple: https://www.ardusimple.com/product/simplertk2b-heading-basic-starter-kit-ip67/
We are not planing to integrate a heading D-GNSS module on the main PCB. The designated uart connector is for the external module. F9P modules are working quite good, but we might evaluate other D-GNSS Modules in future.
We have no separate F9P PCB board design.
