MW6 - dns issues

Hello guys, nice talking here.

I'm a little not familiar with these tenda, so i don't need any equipment just telnet via LAN?

Since updating from the application doesn't change the DNS settings, i want to permanently change to 1.1.1.1 and 1.0.0.1

Any ideas?

What version of the app? It can behave oddly I just restart it.

I am running manual DNS (I use NextDNS to block ads/trackers)

• Tenda app version 3.5.12
• Tenda MW6 firmware V1.0.0.20(9972)

Though of course I did set that DNS a while ago on an older version of the app.

How strange that my devices don't pick up the newer firmware that you are running!?!

I just updated my app and will try again, or maybe not!?

App doesn't solve the issue, i think sounds more like firmware problem.

Tenda support email are very responsive. Every bug I have reported has been fixed in the next firmware.

What mail do you use for support?

It's in the app, tap on your account/profile, I think it is region specific as mine contains UK.
