HTTP URL not triggered on Android 10 (Q)

Hi,

Nice work here, your APK is small compared to others, but it does not seem to trigger the URL when SMS is received.
I tested this on both an emulator and real phone.

Any idea why? Thank you.

Thanks for the kind words.

I actually haven't used or looked at this for a long time, so it is very likely that it doesn't work on later android releases for some reason.

It is very nice to hear that someone at least finds this useful. I guess I should set up some CI to ensure that it at least builds, but even better write some unit tests and try to keep up to date with later Android/Java releases.

The thing is though, I'm not much of an Android/Java developer, but I might try to see if I can find some time to see if I can make this work again.

Is there any information available in the android log?

I've just used adb logcat. I think my code should log some information when a text message has been received, at least if it decides to send it to an HTTP server.

hey boss man ,i always think older codes always work better when updated , but can you explain to me how to build and update this ?

I haven't looked at this code for ages so it hasn't really been updated.

I can't even remember how to build it, but looking at the workflow it seem like gradle build is all it takes.

Updating it to support newer Android versions probably requires a bit of work. No idea what that would involve.

A pull request would be very appreciated since I doubt I'll have the time to look into to updating this myself, but I'll definitely look into it if you open a PR.
