Breaking the ice for anyone shy: please share your experience with Mending Wall in this category. Best to start a new discussion rather than replying here. At this stage I am particularly interested in collating a table of Linux distributions (rows) and desktop environments (columns) to show where it is or is not working, and weeding out any remaining issues.

Posting your Linux distribution, desktop environments that you are wanting to use, and screenshots of any graphical artifacts that you see would be super helpful. If more information is needed to debug, I can follow up with you.

Feedback on which applications should or should not be shown on various desktop environments would also be appreciated. Is the current tidy menus too aggressive from your perspective? Not aggressive enough?
