Minor suggestion, have the default paths in the settings start with separating the creator into folders by default instead of having the creators name in the video title; IE. {channel}/[{date_custom="M-d-yy"}] - {title}
instead of [{date_custom="M-d-yy"}] {channel} - {title}
Instead of "no file path provided" can it say "Duplicate file already exists" when a download is cancelled/skipped for the file already existing. I believe that is what it means, it was just unclear the exact meaning the first few times I saw that error.
More descriptive error message in the Task Queue. Instead of just "failed" Have a little more detail like "Failed: duplicate file/Missing Parts/Network Error" and the error button can show the full error message.
Bit of a QOL type request here:
Sub tabs in the task queue to separate pending downloads from finished downloads and from errored downloads. Like one tab thats the queue and currently downloading files. If it produces an error it goes into an error tab. And if it completes successfully it goes into a completed tab. If possible sorting error tab by error type would be helpful. A separate tab for chat downloads would be more visually appealing too. (Might be similar in a way to #1189 ) (Also combining the ideas of points 3 and 8 from #560 )
I think its been suggested for a task history and saving between sessions (I havent found it again yet, sorry), my thought on that is something like how qbittorrent works would be nice. You add a torrent (here clips/vods/chat) to the queue, and if you close the app (or it crashes) when you reopen it it resumes where it was already at with the queue still in place. Understandable if it has to restart an in progress download over again since I dont think twitch has a hash to check the part files against to resume a download that was in progress.
