Will this project be privacy focused?

Just wanted to clarify the motive of the project is it more convenience or more privacy of user data?

1. Will it use Google services and APIs or it will follow more privacy friendly approach to publish on f-droid?
2. Also most of it intended and existing features seems similar to Cashew app (or not if it does not relies on google) which is also available as an open source app. What is the motivation behind the project and how it differentiate it self?
