I'm undecided on anonymous logins as well, but happy to have Github-auth-only for the time being while I mull it over to avoid spam. |

Sorry, at the moment I am still using this as is - it simply hard to replace the Github integration with something else. You can, however, always use the Github API to pull comments/discussions, if you want to archive them. All of that would be custom code, however. |

Good point - I guess you could likely modify Giscus to save the comments it loads manually instead of displaying them below your blog post. |

@samuelgfeller I do, but implementing it needs some careful considerations – and there are other higher-priority tasks I need to do, so I haven't got around to. Contributions would be very welcome though! |
