Feature-Request: Support import repository metadata from extrepo project

I don't know if the project is known, but there is already something in extrepo
that manages and collects some repository metadata: extrepo-data

It would be nice if you could simply import them and would probably reduce the maintenance effort here in the long term.

Thanks for sharing but the formats are different and will require some effort to be compatible.
Also I am not a big fan of depending on external git repositories. If the repo is deleted or unmaintained, all of this will become unuseable.
