When you run this program and type the wrong answer you should get a short loud beep, but now you get a long silent beep with the wrong frequency. When you type a wrong character i.e. not a number, you should get a short beep with another frequency, but it now gives the same long silent beep as before.
Here is the English page which uses the same Java applet (it was the Swedish page in the heading): http://df.lth.se.orbin.se/~mikaelb/aritm/aritm.html

I use the extension CheerpJ Applet Runner version 2025.11, which is the one you get automatically now, in Chromium Version 143.0.7499.169 (Official Build) built on Debian GNU/Linux 12 (bookworm) (64-bit) running on a Raspberry Pi 500 with Raspberry Pi OS 12.12 (bookworm) aarch64. I believe CheerpJ Applet Runner in Windows 10 and 11 have the same problem in Edge and Chrome, but I've not tested it yet.
