Hi everyone,

My name is Victor Mayowa, and I’m a Computer Science undergraduate at the Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO), Nigeria. I’m planning to apply for Google Summer of Code 2026 with Learning Unlimited.

I have experience in web development, particularly with React, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and I’m currently expanding my backend knowledge with Python and Django. I’m very interested in contributing to open-source and learning more about the Learning Unlimited codebase.

I’m especially interested in projects related to improving the web platform and user experience, such as UI improvements and admin tools.

I’ll begin by setting up the project locally and exploring beginner-friendly issues to start contributing. I would really appreciate any guidance on good first issues or areas where I can help.
