Currently, the bottom section of the webpages is not positioned at the bottom of the page

As shown in the screenshots, there is a empty space below the footer. The footer should be aligned to the bottom of the page so that if appears at the end of the viewport when the page content is short.

Expected Behavior:
The footer should stay at the bottom of the page without leaving extra empty space below.

Actual Behavior:
The footer is displayed above the bottom of the page, leaving a large blank space underneath.
