We have a feature request regarding the anonymous mode and the cross-module reputation.
The Moodleoverflow in anonymous mode is used a lot in our Moodle because it lowers the students' barriers to participation. At the same time, it would also be very helpful to display an overall overview of students' reputation in the course (“cross-module reputation”).
For a didactic setting, we would like to reward students with points when they actively and anonymously participate in the Moodleoverflow forum. Ideally, there would also be an overall overview for this, as in the non-anonymous mode.
In our opinion, traceability is very limited in large courses with many students and postings. If there are few Moodleoverflow postings and students, the postings could be traced. Therefore, you could add a warning when activating anonymous mode for the parameter “Cross module reputation?” that traceability could be an issue under certain circumstances. Maybe it would also be possible to display the reputation overview only to teachers when using the anonymous mode. Then you may display the warning, that the reputation is always visible to students.
