Number of items in axis

I wonder if I can configure the number of items rendered in the axes. In my example I would love to reduce the number of items in the y-axis. This current rendering can be seen in the screenshot, marked with (1).

Sorry, no option to configure that through api, for now one option is to modify source code, but this method is used for both X and Y axis so there should be some additional if-statement. You may also try to use axis.setHasTiltedLabels(true).

I will try to add some more options to configure axes.

Thanks, I am looking forward to a new feature in a new version. Tilted labels actually is a workaround - it removes every second item since more space is needed. Cute.

I would like to do something similar too.
I've some X value, but i want only the multiple of 5 to be displayed in the labels.
tried to set the useless label to empty but it's not working.

We can configure the number of items on axes using Axis.generateAxisFromRange(startVal, stopVal,stepVal) .
