not seeing a floating ball or notification

i dont see the on button, a notification or floating ball despite giving it all perms, device tecno bg7, using latest version from github

From what I see in the screenshot, the Service failed to start. Try to force stop and re open the app, and if the problem persists check the logs (the button at the bottom right corner)

force stopping doesnt seem to work, only thing that appears in logs is "attempting to start rootservice" (though im not rooted), a weird thing is, sometimes it kicks me out of logs or the app crashes after 30ish seconds

It's called rootservice but it runs with shizuku privileges as well... But my assumption was correct

The crash is weird, however... Can you confirm that the shizuku app doesn't show any red warnings?

Same behaviour, no notification or floating ball, even after mannually enabling all permissions.
