Thanks for reporting. Unfortunately, this is to be expected with Linux 6.17.

I'll try to make my patch backward compatible whenever I find some time. Once that is done (and the -i issue is fixed) it can probably be merged here.

In the meantime, you can use my fork at https://github.com/x5444/macbook12-audio-driver to get your speakers back for now.

I tried to set the default compiler for building packages by edit

/etc/makepkg.conf

export CXX=clang++

but without success, could you suggest a solution?
