High CPU usage and severe input lag in desktop app (Electron client)

Description:
The desktop app shows severe performance issues during basic text input.

Observations:

• Idle CPU usage ~15–25%
• CPU spikes to 100%+ while typing
• Visible input lag (characters render with delay)
• Issue occurs consistently in chat input field

Environment:

• macOS (13.7.8)
• App version: 1.1.0 (20230803.134154)
• No similar issues in other Electron-based apps on same machine

Steps to reproduce:

1. Open app
2. Start typing in chat input
3. Observe delayed rendering and high CPU usage

Expected:
Smooth real-time input rendering

Actual:
Laggy rendering + high CPU usage during typing
