Question: How to create slider with alphabetic range (A-D)?

I need to setup a slider, which goes from A to D (A,B,C,D) and have a preset D.

I use a lot of numeric sliders but wonder, how to setup an alphabetic slider.
Do I need to setup an arrray of these letters or is there a way of giving a minimum value A and a maximum D?

You can use the formatting options to work on the slider in- and output.

Checked the formatting options but have no clue on how to use it with wNumb Options for my purpose. I don't want to format a given number but have a slider from A to D where users can select the range (A-A, A-B, B-C, C-D, A-D, etc.).

Currently I'm using

I was assuming, there's something like min:A max:D format alphabetical or so.

You would use a slider with range 0-4, then map the values to the characters you want to use.
