Changing expressions for H and scale factor

Hi, I'm an student trying to calculate recombination and photon decoupling times using a model of coasting cosmology. For that, I have to change the expressions for H, scale factor and densities, I suppose in background.c, but I'm not famliarized enough with coding to know how to change things without breaking the program.
