Add debug mode. 

For development purposes, it is good to have a debug mode on. 

I was working on an app today where `refresh()` fails every time that I `observe` an `OnlineRepository`. I wish that I knew about this, but I do not because the result of `refresh()` is ignored unless you explicitly call `refresh` yourself and subscribe to it.
