Hi,

From what I read the Orbiter filament sensor has a built-in 1s delay due to internal hardware filtering, which makes it unusable for MMU usage.
Other users have reported issues as well, but if this is not the case, then it should work without an additional sensor as long as it's configured the same way in the sp_mmu.cfg
