[Bug] Calendar settings page is blank and throws TypeError on clean install

Steps to reproduce

1. Perform a complete "scorched-earth" reinstall of Obsidian (uninstall, delete the app data folder in %appdata% or ~/Library/Application Support, then reinstall from a fresh installer).
2. Create a brand new, empty vault.
3. Install the Calendar plugin (it is the only community plugin installed).
4. Go to Settings -> Calendar.

Expected result

The Calendar settings page should display all configuration options normally.

Actual result

The settings page is completely blank. The developer console shows the following error:
Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'dow') at plugin:calendar:814

Environment

This error persists even on a completely clean installation with a new vault, indicating a deep compatibility issue.

Hey there, I have the same problem and found a solution.

Observation

The Calendar settings page works normally in these situations:

• After disabling and re-enabling the plugin.
• After the Calendar view has been displayed once.

Possible root cause

The Calendar plugin's settings tab tries to read the dow property from window._bundledLocaleWeekSpec before this variable is initialized.
It is only set when the calendar view is opened. If you go to Settings → Calendar before ever opening the view, the settings page will be almost blank, and the console shows this error:

Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'dow')

Workaround

This can be fixed by directly editing the main.js file.

Add the following one line to the onload() function, right after await this.loadOptions();:

await this.loadOptions();
configureGlobalMomentLocale(this.options.localeOverride, this.options.weekStart); // added

This ensures _bundledLocaleWeekSpec is set before the settings tab is loaded, preventing the error.
