Connection fails despite entering IP address

Hey guys, I desperately need your help. I'm relatively new to HA and have managed to add the Dyson integration with some difficulty. However, I'm stuck trying to connect to my device. When HA asks me for the IP address after entering my dyson account information, I enter it, and I keep getting an error message stating that the connection cannot be established.

I'm hitting the same issue with reconnecting my DC07. The device was working fine with HA until a few days ago (around the time of the AWS outage, which may or may not be related). I've tried removing and re-adding my Dyson account in the Integration, the device is getting rediscovered, but trying to Add it always fails.

I ended up removing all configured entities in the integration, removed the ha-dyson integration via HACS, restarted HA, installed 1.5.7, restarted again and re-setup everything and got it to work.

Is it possible that I don't have any entities in the integration? I can't find any corresponding entities in my list. Is it possible that I haven't set up any entities yet? So I ensured within the Dyson iOS app my device is set up and controllable, then i logged out, removed all entities from the Dyson integration, restarted HA, then downloaded the older version (1.5.7) via HACS. From there I added the Dyson integration and set it up automatically via the Dyson account and after that was set up, it auto discovered my device. If you don't have any entities, you may need to restart HA and your dyson purifier for it to auto discover, assuming you have signed in. If it asks for you IP address ensure you are entering in the correct IP. I ran into that issue with the newer versions of the integration but after downgrading it all works without issue.

But where can I find and download the older version (1.5.7)? I only have two Dyson integrations in HACS. Which of them is the 1.5.7 version? Sorry for my stupidity, but I'm still very new to HA. You will have to manually downgrade the integration, then you will see a dropdown and from thete you can select the version you want to download. So open the repository in Home Assistant, hit the 3 dots on the top right, then selext download. If you see redownload, you will need to remove the integration and restart. From there you can select the version to install.

Ah! ... After deleting the app from Hacs I restarted the HA. Then I attempted an install and chose an earlier version, probably like you I couldn't find v1.5.7 so I installed the nearest, which was 1.6 or 1.16 I can't remember, but it was the 1st one before the beta versions. This was installed but I couldn't find the integration in HA, and restarted. However I could not find the Dyson in the Integrations list. I then went back to HACS and went to previous versions and 1.5.7 was there to pick. Restarted and added the integration and it worked immediately and populated my cards, which I set up months ago. Hope that helps.

Reverting back to version 1.5.7 of the integration also worked for me.
