Problem description
My Dyson purifier (serial: K1Y-EU-PGA0035A, device_type=438) cannot connect via the Dyson Local integration.
I always get the following error:

Versions

  • Home Assistant: [please insert your version, e.g. 2025.11.0]
  • Dyson Local integration: 1.7 (libdyson-wg/ha-dyson)
  • Dyson firmware: [insert if known, e.g. 1.8.3]

Steps to reproduce

  1. Installed Dyson Local integration from HACS (libdyson-wg/ha-dyson).
  2. Configured serial/IP of the device.
  3. Restarted Home Assistant → error occurs immediately.

Expected behavior
Stable connection to the device and entities created.

Actual behavior
Immediate timeout, no entities available.

Additional notes

  • Device IP is fixed (192.168.1.92).
  • Tried reinstalling and rebooting the purifier.
  • Automations and dashboards remain intact, but the device never connects.
