Can't find my android SDK path in gdx-liftoff setup tool.

I am using Mac 15. My android SDK path is users/xxx/Library/xxx. I can find the Library directory in Finder but I can't find the Library directory in gdx-liftoff setup tool. I can't type the android sdk path but only open the path for it, but the Library directory is not visible in that case. So I was blocked when generate new LIbgdx project.

I don't have a Mac at all, so there's no way I can debug this. There might be some option in the OS or even in the native file dialog to show hidden folders. If not, the only solution I can think of is for you to install the Android SDK somewhere you can actually access it.

At least provide us an option to type the actual android SDK path like the old gdx-steup tool does.

I'd like that too; I just am really out of my element with the scene2d.ui code @raeleus wrote a while ago. The path seems to be stored in a Label rather than a TextField, even though it looks like a TextField. Clicking any part of the "button" (including the field-looking Label) currently opens up the file select dialog. We can't really update the file selection code because LWJGL3 somehow keeps breaking in relevant places, including the Native File Dialog extended (NFDe) library it includes. The Label could be changed to a TextField if there's some other way to open the file picker. There's some concept of the button being "checked" or not that I don't understand at all, considering it just opens a file picker.

This might take a while until someone can write a GUI solution.

However...

Liftoff does store the Android SDK location in its preferences file. If you can locate that plain-text file and change or add the key AndroidSdk with the path you want, then the next time you open Liftoff, it should automatically fill in that path without you needing to enter it.

@wangdong20 as a workaround, you can use Command+Shift+G while in the file picker dialog to enter a path.

If you want to use the Finder window to navigate to the folder then press Comman-Shift-. (period). That toggles hidden folders.
