• Hackathon Period: December 8 - December 14, 2025

🎯 How to Participate

1. Complete the lessons in our Universal Connectivity Workshop to learn how to build with libp2p
2. Build any project you want using libp2p!
   • AI projects are especially encouraged - decentralized AI agents, distributed ML models, peer-to-peer AI applications, etc.
   • But feel free to explore any use case - decentralized apps, P2P communication tools, distributed systems, and more!
3. Submit your project by adding a comment to this discussion with:

Description:
FileMesh-RS is a decentralized, serverless file-transfer CLI built with Rust and libp2p’s Universal Connectivity stack. Peers can discover each other across networks, join rooms, and transfer files directly using TCP, WebSocket, relays, AutoNAT, and DCUtR. The project demonstrates seamless peer connectivity, file broadcasting, and real-time peer discovery without any central server.

Project Name: LLMesh
Description:

• A decentralized, browser-based P2P chat mesh where any peer sends msg-pulse through libp2p’s GossipSub layer, and an embedded LLM (Ollama- local, Chatgpt-hosted) joins the mesh as its own node, weaving LLM intelligence directly into the peer network.
• [Motivation]: To explore and tinker around the idea that P2P doesn't have to be just limited to boring terminal logs. By combining js-libp2p: universal-connectivity with a local LLM Agent, I tried to create a "living" mesh where your first peer is a cosmic entity(llm-persona) that helps you levitate in libp2p-verse and universal-connectivity application.

Description

SwarmMind-AI is a decentralized AI agent swarm built on libp2p that demonstrates universal connectivity through peer-to-peer networking. Universal Connectivity Extension Protocol (UCEP)

Description

The Universal Connectivity Extension Protocol (UCEP) is a decentralized plugin system for libp2p web and mobile applications. It enables peers to discover and interact with extensions (plugins/services) provided by other libp2p peers (browser & nodes) in a peer-to-peer manner, without any central registry or server.
