Works fine on my side too, if LibreTube crashes on your side, there should be a crash log first time you reopen the app after the crash occurs. Paste it here |

Unfortunately, there is not crash log when I open the app after the restart of the phone. There is also no way to get into the app before the phone restarts by itself. |

Weird, it's better to try capturing logs using the adb Logcat or by using any logging app, as they will continuously capture the logs. If the operating system is crashing, it can have a significant impact and will definitely be reported by all users. Currently, there are no issues reported that resemble what you described. |

Regardless of what's causing this, you should be reporting this to your OEM, as an app should not be able to crash the OS (it's possible they messed up, and introduced a bug causing this). |

I just tried this on another Samsung device with OneUI 7, (still) happens there aswell on LibreTube 0.28.1 I would imagine that this means this happens on OneUI 7 in general and is therefore reproducible with basically any recent Samsung device that runs on Android 15? I was able to get the following log via |

Steps to reproduce
Clicking on certain videos crashes the entire OS, such that the phone has to restart. For example, this video leads to a crash: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IQJL3htsDyQ&pp=ygUKbWFyayByb2Jlcg%3D%3D
Expected behavior
Videos do not crash the entire OS
Actual behavior
Clicking on the video, the app crashes, I can only see my phones background, the status bar and navigation bar flicker, the phone is completely unresponsive and after flickering for maybe 10 seconds, the phone restarts. Starting the app again and clicking on the video again will trigger the crash again.
Settings:
LibreTube version
0.27.1 (60)
Android version
Adroid 15 (One UI version 7.0, Security Patch Level: 1 February 2025)
Other details
Im not quite sure how I could provide a log or additional information for these kind of crashes. Please let me know if and how I can provide additional information!
