No, I disagree. You can still use Piped for everything and only
I see the need for more simplification, but the proposed changes don't seem to be the right path. |

Describe your suggested feature
Remove all settings that are related to bypassing Piped, in favour of the one "Full local mode" toggle.
This includes "Local stream extraction", "Disable Piped proxy", "Local feed extraction", "Local Return Youtube Dislikes" (and possibly other settings), which should all be controlled simultaneously by "Full local mode".
Other details
The individual settings were added one-by-one as necessary when Piped instances started failing, while a full local mode was out of scope (#6942).
Now that such a mode exists, I don't see any reason for each part to be toggleable separately. In my mind, the purpose of Piped is to mask your activity from Google, and so any local extraction setting bypasses that purpose entirely.
Removing all the excess settings in favour of "local mode" controlling everything will also simplify the settings menu from a user and developer experience, and remove the need to solve current bugs. I can elaborate on bugs in a separate issue if desired, but it would be significantly easier to just delete the options outright.
