This is usually a temporary problem. If it happens repeatedly, your IP address has been blacklisted. Get a new IP address. Call your provider. Try playing the video again. Play the video on the YT website without logging in. Don't use a VPN. Your IP address will be blocked if high requests are observed. For example, for me, there was no problem at all. Keep Android system webview updated If this error occurs on LibreTube, it also occurs on the yt website without an account The "Source Error" is related to "SABR". Wait for the fix. We can't do anything. This issue is considered a duplicate. An edit has been made to fix this, no other edits are possible |

Call your ISP and request a new IP. Don't overload the new IP with too many requests. Do not use Tor or VPN. |

I think that most TOR node IPs are banned anyways (or will be very shortly after some people use it), so I don't think that's a solution. |

Weirdly enough sometimes orbot works w/ libretube but I dont really trust it to work 24/7 besides the network of the funny onion is slow as is, and eating bandwith on mind numbing things like streaming video feels mean to endareged journalist and censored minorities. It really doesn't make sense to keep this issue open. But replace it with the old issue on github, maybe the user will be happy. I am not responsible for the app! It is the app I use! Select all options in the VPN and advanced section in Settings. I checked, YT doesn't block it.

Hi all, is this a re-occurring thing as of 1st July? Was all good till today, getting all the above error messages etc on 0,28,1 Android 15 no-matter what settings are altered.. thanks |

This mostly a catch all "same issue here" people to avoid getting duplicates.
I'm fed up with this obviously malicious API manipulation updates that youtube does.
And hint for the normal users that weren't here last time this happened, blame youtube, google doesn't want privacy respesting front-ends like libretube to thrive.
Blame youtube intentionally blocking third party apps.
Blame the poorly structured consumer protections laws making companies spy on you pretty much legal.
But let the Newpipe team (libretube's video extractor) and Bynro (Libretube's father) cook.
It will took a while, but they will eventually catch up.
Be patient.
