Remove Github ping that happens on every browser launch

Fetch public instances setting is disabled.
I can't see another setting that could affect this issue.
Github ping on launch doesn't happen when the addon is disabled.
Possibly related to this:

The Libredirect search engine icon displayed in Firefox at about:preferences#search and in the address bar is fetched from GitHub.

Yes for some reason I couldn't fetch the icon from a local path.
