Hi everyone, I am encountering the exact same issue trying to use the new beetle_saturn_mpeg_card option for this game. Even with the file placed correctly in the system directory, it is not being detected or working as expected.

My RetroArch logs confirm that the core option is registering correctly on the frontend side, but the emulation fails to initialize the hardware:

[DEBUG] [Environ] GET_VARIABLE: beetle_saturn_mpeg_card = "enabled"

To help troubleshoot the database validation or filename tracking on the core's side, here are the verified hashes for the authentic Sega Saturn Video CD / MPEG Card firmware dump (extracted directly from a standard MAME sat_vccard.zip set using the mpr-17773e-t.ic303 chip data):

• Filename Expected by Core: mpeg_card.bin
• File Size: Exactly 524,288 bytes (512 KB)
• CRC32: 88BCB5AB

I have strictly verified that my file matches these hashes perfectly. If the core requires a different VCD card or other name than mpeg_card.bin i am not sure. ut Lunar complete is not able to bypass vcard message.

I am using last stable retroarch version 1.22.2 with update cores from repository
