Stuck in title screen: Riichi Mahjong - Ohitorisama demo Utemasu! (Japan)

Issue description

When playing the game Riichi Mahjong - Ohitorisama demo Utemasu! (Japan), the intro cinematic works normally and you can skip it by pressing X, however, once the title screen appears you can't press start to skip it and you're stuck hearing the long song.

If you fast forward so the song ends, the main menu comes up on it's own. Normally you should be able to press start at the title screen to get past it, as tested with other cores.

Start the game, skip the cinematic and once the title screen comes up, press start to skip it.

The game seems to want a second memory card (core options -> system, then restart), which is off by default. This might be a game bug and needs to be checked on real hardware.
