First, I know that my computer is no gamer PC at all, but the games I play, I can play fullspeed with PCSX2 at 1980 resolution. I mention this, because people with more powerful machines might not notice any change, but it's very noticeable on my system.
I was happy to know the ps2 core in RA was updated and after trying it out, I made the change to it about 2 months ago.
All my games worked at fullspeed, using native ps2 resolution plus a lightweight shader preset on top. Could even fast forward, which I used to test how good a game ran. However, a few days ago I launched it to find games stuttering, GTA liberty City Stories ran fullspeed all the time, for example, now stutters during regular gameplay.
Tried changing video drivers and testing a clean RA setup to no avail.
Is there a way to get a previous core version, from a month or so ago to test it out?
