Send partial booking to bin

When people booked two tickets, and I want to cancel one, I would lik to be able to send only one ticket to bin with refund.
It seems that's not possible right now. I can edit and change the booking from 2 to 1, but refunding is no option if i do so. I can remove the booking and doing so guarantee refund, but then I have to remove all tickets.
What am I overlooking of is this an idea?

partial refunding is indeed not possible. Doing partial refunding would complicate things a lot and since this is not very much in demand, it is not on my todo list. So leaving this as "idea" for now :-)
