Eventmanager email own events with generic emails

I'd like my eventmanagers to be able to send generic emails to the confirmed bookings' emails. But, when trying to do so they have no permission to open domain.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=eme-emails.
I've tried to adjust the setting 'Send generic emails' to 'Eventmanager email own events' but changes are not saved.

Thanks for the quick reponse. I edited the files and now changes in settings are saved.
I synchronized with the role editor but... still no access to wp-admin/admin.php?page=eme-emails. ;-(
To make sure the role editor isn’t the issue, I temporarily changed other capabilities, and those changes took effect immediately.

The mail access settings had more copy/paste errors (apparently not a lot of people use these ...).

Well, let us be 'de luis in de pels' then. I implemented these changes, checked, still no right to view the page. Cleared cache, checked code again, opened new incognito window. But still no ;-(

BTW as admin I can send any email I want.

Can you explain your workflow here? Because I'm having troubles reproducing this ...
