[Feature request] Public roadmap for Xilem

Since Xilem is still in active, fast-moving development, it would really help to have a simple public roadmap that shows the general direction of the project and what you expect to focus on next.

It doesn’t need to be strict or detailed. Even a lightweight list of upcoming priorities or planned milestones would give contributors and early adopters a clearer picture of where the project is heading and where help might be useful.

A small Markdown file or GitHub Project board would already be enough to give this visibility.

We currently have bandwidth issues, and Xilem is the project that suffered the most from them. Also, we've recently decided to experiment with some radical changes to the Xilem API, and until we've decided which changes we want to keep, it's hard to predict what the roadmap will be.

Still, I'm hoping to write something before the end of the year.
