collapsible-systray@feuerfuchs.eu is not working in current LMDE 6

What happened?

The applet just doesn't work. Even if I disable any other tray applet, it still shows "No icons to hide/reveal" when I hover (in a tooltip). This way, we have no options to have a functional collapsible systray.

Oh, forget. Somehow the alternative systray-collapsible made by koutch is working ok in this version of Cinnamon. The bug with collapsible-systray is still happening tho.

Ps.: while systray-collapsible is kinda working in LMDE 6, I can't interact or click in any of the programs running in the tray.
