Broadcom Driver Install Faill

On a fresh install of Cinammon 21.1 I used the Driver Manager to install bcmwl-kernal-source, but this did not result in the installation of the driver, I removed and tried again to the same result.

On advice I manually installed the package with apt and that install worked correctly.

I believe there must be some issue with the the driver installation through the gui but I'm not sure what logs I could provide to assist with fixing this issue.
