Description

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
From some quick preliminary testing, it seems that automatic updates will still be downloaded and installed even if mintUpdate is disabled in Mint's "Startup Applications"

This is notable because mintUpdate being enabled in Mint's "Startup Applications" may in fact be the cause of #764

Describe the solution you'd like
If mintUpdate is enabled in "Startup Applications", whenever the user enabled automatic updates in mintUpdate, maybe throw up a pop-up dialog message window saying something like:

With automatic updates enabled, updates will still be automatically downloaded and installed even if the Update Manager application is disabled from automatically starting after login.

Would you like to disable the Update Manager application from automatically starting after login?

[No] [Yes]

Describe alternatives you've considered
Allow completely hiding the tray icon for mintUpdate whenever automatic updates are enabled; this is what #764 was.

EDIT: As mentioned below, there's a bug at least in Mint 21.1 that requires leaving mintUpdate enabled in "Startup Applications" if you want it to automatically update flatpaks and/or cinnamon spices.
