Please restore Details window function missing in mintupdate on Mint 22.1

Describe the bug
In Mint 22.0 and earlier, mintupdate relied on Synaptic to do the updates. It was possible to make a small change in mintupdate to force the Details window to stay open so you could review what happened, as shown in viewtopic.php?p=1674771#p1674771 (among other locations in the forum):

1. Edit the /usr/lib/linuxmint/mintUpdate/mintUpdate.py script file (as admin).
2. Search for "Synaptic::closeZvt=true" and change true to false and save the file.

Mint 22.1 (and beyond?) does not use Synaptic so there is no longer a way to force this display to stay open.
Please restore this missing function by either adding an option to mintupdate preferences, or at least disclosing where this change can be made in 22.1.
