Description
Describe the bug
The update manager shows the orange "reboot required" banner, when no updates were installed, because I cancelled the password authentication dialog.
To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
- Open Mint Update and you have to have a new Kernel in the list
- Click on 'Install updates' button in the toolbar
- Wait for the password authentication dialog...
- ... then cancel it (do not enter your password)
- -> orange banner pops up saying a reboot is required
Expected behavior
The orange banner should not appear, when the installation of updates is cancelled.
Distribution:
- Linux Mint 22.1 Cinnamon
