When under Root: "Move to the Rubbish Bin" option missing; Del key is not working either

 * desktop
 * Distribution - Mint 21, after updating from Mint 20.3
 * 64 bit

Issue

• "Move to the Rubbish Bin" option (Right-mouse click menu) disappeared when using elevated privileges (after "Open as Root").
• Pressing Delete key also does nothing

1. The option exists under normal user with user's files
   
2. The option is missing when accessing normal user's files with Root
   
3. The option is missing with Root files:
   

Steps to reproduce

1. Open Nemo
2. Right click
3. Choose "Open as Root"
4. Try to delete via Delete key or via context menu
5. Fail.

Deleting via the delete key would place the file in /root/.local/share/Trash/ - which does not exist (on my PC).
Deleting via the context menu (with the right settings) allows removal of the file.

I don't know why you wrote that. What you said has no relation to the issues I raised.

And yes, I do have the directory you mentioned. But the option to delete files is still missing as of today 2023-10-07 and Mint 21.2 Cinnamon and Nemo 5.8.5. I can delete files without any problems in the Terminal.
